At AVN, we’ve always believed in the power of science and innovation to transform how we manufacture, build and create. Today, we’re proud to share another milestone in that journey: AVN is now an official member of BioMADE, the Bioindustrial Manufacturing and Design Ecosystem, and the first corporation headquartered in West Virginia to join this national network.
“This moment marks both a reflection of our progress and a springboard toward what’s next. Positioned at the intersection of manufacturing and science, AVN now stands alongside more than 300 pioneering organizations working to shape the future of U.S.-based, sustainable production,” said Dr. John “Jack” P. Dever, chief technology officer, AVN.
What is BioMADE?
BioMADE is a non-profit, public-private partnership committed to securing America’s future through bioindustrial manufacturing innovation, education and collaboration. Backed by the Department of Defense, it brings together industry, academia and government to address shared challenges, strengthen domestic supply chains and build the infrastructure needed to bring bio-based products to market more efficiently.
For companies like AVN, BioMADE offers a platform to collaborate on high-impact projects, contribute to national roadmaps and help shape policies and standards that will define the future of the field.
