A company sought to assess the effectiveness of novel materials for removing carbon dioxide from mixed gas streams. To facilitate this, AVN developed a screening unit for single-pass evaluation of candidate materials, supported by precise analytical techniques to ensure accurate performance measurements. Initial testing yielded valuable data on capacity and kinetics, guiding the selection of promising materials for further study. Building on these results, AVN constructed a continuous pilot unit with integrated recycle to investigate long-term operational characteristics under extended conditions.
