Bio-based diesel and aviation fuel were target products for a company who had experimented with a novel process at laboratory scale. They approached AVN to collaborate on the design and construction of a pilot plant to demonstrate larger operation and produce material for testing. The unit was constructed in AVN’s facilities and successfully operated to produce fuels meeting the required specifications.
