Duane Dombek is the Vice President, R&D Business Development, responsible for maintaining an active pipeline of potential R&D projects and to work to bring them in as actual projects. He joined AVN* in 2004 as the Director of Project and Process R&D. Prior to joining AVN, he worked at Union Carbide and Dow Chemical as Senior Group Leader and Research Scientist.
Mr. Dombek holds more than 25 U.S. patents. He received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Southwest Minnesota State University and a Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from Iowa State University.
