John T. Miesner

John T. Miesner, J.D., is the General Counsel, responsible for providing broad support services for corporate mission including legal and management advice and direction in business agreements, HR, strategic planning and corporate risk assessment and abatement. He joined AVN* in 2011. Prior to his current role, Mr. Miesner was hired initially as AVN’s first General Counsel on a part-time basis in 2011 and proceeded to be intimately involved in developing corporate best practices to underpin company growth. Prior to joining AVN, Mr. Miesner came from a sole practitioner private legal practice concentrated in business workouts and litigation following a dozen years in a small firm as a partner with emphasis on Chapter 11 business bankruptcies and general business practice.
