PUMP TECHNOLOGY SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT

Randy Estep

Randy Estep has joined AVN as a Pump Technology Subject Matter Expert within the Manufacturing Business Unit, contributing to the SAPPHIRE project and providing support, troubleshooting, and consulting services in pump technology as required.

Beginning his career in 1981 with Union Carbide Corporation (UCC), Randy served as a Machinery Engineer in the Central Engineering department located at the Technical Center’s Building 2000. Following his tenure at UCC, he spent approximately seven years in Rhone Poulenc’s maintenance department at the Institute plant before rejoining UCC just before its merger with Dow Chemical. At Dow, Randy held the position of Maintenance and Engineering Principal, and he led Dow’s Global Pump and Seal Technical Solutions Team until his retirement last year.

Randy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the West Virginia Institute of Technology.
