Ron Smith, Ph.D.

Ron Smith, Ph.D., serves as AVN’s Business Development Manager, connecting business development, R&D, and leadership to identify opportunities and strengthen AVN’s position in the custom and specialty chemical industry

Prior to joining AVN, Ron led R&D and process development teams, supported manufacturing scale-up, and helped bring new chemical solutions to market. Most recently, he served as the Business Development and Technical Services Manager at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company.

Ron earned his B.A. in Chemistry from Huntingdon College and his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Auburn University.
