Scott White

Scott White, Pilot Plant Supervisor, joined AVN in 2016. Prior to joining AVN, Mr. White worked at AK Steel Holdings Corporation as a Master Electronic Maintenance Technician, at GeFanuc as a Flow Line Technician on the MPG Business Team, as an Advance Simulator Technician on the CPU Business Team, and as a GenRad Technician on the I/O Business Team.

Mr. White was awarded two Silver Dollar awards while working at GeFanuc. He was awarded the first by management for Cost Savings in Production and Quality through the use of Six Sigma Tools. The second was awarded by his peers for Outstanding Effort and Teamwork with the MPG Business Team. For the State of Virginia, Mr. White is a Certified First Responder, a Certified Hazmat Responder, and a Certified Confined Space Rescuer. He is Green Belt Level certified in Six Sigma. He is also certified in Allen Bradley PLC Training Courses in Control Logix Maintenance and Troubleshooting, Device Net and RS Networks Drive Tools 32, 1397 and Power Flex Maintenance and Troubleshooting, Device Net and RS Networks Configuration and Troubleshooting, as well as GeFanuc Series 90/30 and 90/70 Maintenance, Series 90/30 and 90/70 Implementation. Mr. White is a HIWF Production Manager, an SAP User and Problem Solver, and he is certified in Industrial and Chemical Handling through HazCom as well as being certified in handling radiological sources. Mr. White received an associate’s degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering Technology from the National Institute of Technology and he studied Business Administration at West Virginia State College.
