Steven “Arlo” Cook is an Operations and Maintenance Technician, responsible for building Pilot Plant Operational Units, specializing in fixing mechanical equipment, operating Pilot Plants, and optimizing Pilot Plant operations based on data. He joined MATRIC in 2018.

Mr. Cook is a First Lieutenant and Aerospace Educator for the West Virginia Civil Air Patrol/Air Force, an FAA Drone Pilot, and a Search and Rescue Ground and Air Team Captain. Mr. Cook has a certificate in electronics, an associate’s degree in computer science with certificates in Network Administrator/Networking Plus/A+/Programming in Python, and C+, an associate’s degree in applied science community behavioral health technology with a specialized focus in substance abuse and mental health, and an associate’s in applied science with a specialized focus in process technology/process instrumentation technology/chemical operations/alarm technician certification. He is a DOCSIS Engineering Professional and a SCTE-Certified Broadband Premises Installer. Mr. Cook also has a bachelor of science in health science.
