An organization working on technologies for utilization of algae needed assistance with oil extraction from several sources of algae. AVN set up equipment to process kilogram quantities of the material and tested the process at selected conditions. Analytical measurements on the products helped select the preferred extraction protocol. The operation was then successfully demonstrated at a larger scale to provide products for testing.
