Parvez H. Wadia, D.Sc., vice president, strategic initiatives, formally accepted the national Earle B. Barnes Award for Leadership in Chemical Research Management from the American Chemical Society (ACS) on March 28, 2023, at a national ceremony alongside his peers. During his presentation, he reflected on leadership challenges and best practices for excellence in chemical research and innovation.
Only one individual is recognized with this award each year, and ACS selected Dr. Wadia based on his demonstration of outstanding leadership and creativity through the promotion of chemistry and chemical engineering in research management. Acknowledgement and appreciation of such high accomplishments by the recipient’s peers is necessary to be considered for the award.
