AVN was once again the proud title sponsor of the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra’s (WVSO) AVN Corp. Symphony Sunday on June 7, 2026, in what was the symphony’s 43rd year hosting this event. This year’s theme, “Sousa: An America Celebration!,” entertained hundreds of guests who enjoyed a variety of food, art and family-friendly activities that were provided by area vendors. Several local bands played on the University of Charleston’s lawn until the late evening. The event’s grand finale was a performance from the WVSO and dazzling fireworks to kick start the summer.
