AVN collaborated with a company who was developing fixed bed catalyst technology for a new process. Initial screening and catalyst selection had been completed, but there was a need to focus on kinetic modeling and bench-scale reactor testing to gain understanding about reactor geometries and key independent variables and their effects on critical outputs. AVN provided modeling expertise with Aspen Plus and other software to help advance the project.
