A company was operating a process having an outlet stream containing an impurity that needed to be removed before that stream could be recycled. A method for removing the impurity was proposed by the customer, who wanted the method investigated and optimized. AVN suggested that alternative methods should be screened, and a brief testing program identified an alternative that appeared superior to the proposed approach. Further investigation in continuous operation showed this to be very effective method for purifying the stream.
