Some literature reports had presented interesting results of an oxidation process to make a product of interest to a client. The experimental work had been done at small scale but could potentially lead to a practical process if scalable. AVN developed a plan to test the concept in a series of reactions. The experimental results demonstrated that the process was not practical and that further investigation was not warranted.
