Working with the customer, AVN constructed and operated a pilot-scale system to demonstrate a process for production of bio-based acrylonitrile. The unit was operated continuously and used to generate data for design of a larger-scale system. Acrylonitrile product was collected and purified to demonstrate the ability to meet specifications.
