South Charleston, W.Va., April 27, 2023 – AVN Corp. (AVN) today announced that Todd Morgan has joined the organization as its new Pilot Plant Business Unit (BU) leader. He will be responsible for leading the BU’s strategic growth in demonstration and validation, data collection for scale-up to commercial operations, market development production, and other specialized testing.
Mr. Morgan, who has held a variety of leadership and technical roles, joins AVN with more than 20 years of experience as a mechanical engineer within the chemical industry, focusing on continuous/lean manufacturing, mechanical integrity, and capital spending reduction. Most recently he served as senior reliability engineer for Belle Chemical Company, where he oversaw the rebuilding of MI and QA programs for the business.

Mr. Morgan, who holds a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, earned both a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
